Lake Music 2007

In Aug 08' and 09'  we had  many special

Music Gatherings

The  music was great and included  most of the following musicians at our  Aug.

Lake Music Acoustic Showcases

music "in the round", presented by Canadian recording artist Susan Wheatley

which featured original and traditional music by some of our favorite singer/songwriters

followed by special performance

Corinne Chapman and AJ Masters, direct from Nashville

then  the "Grand Jam" with Dave McCann (in 08) , Ron Loccarini , Craig Donegan and other "lively music"

in 09'  we had  Pepe' and  Sue  Maxwell back (had missed them  in 08')  and  most of our regional favorites were back

The  09 summer included   a foursome of  Lee Zimmerman, Jack Gladstone, Will Clipman and world famous  flute player R.C. Nakai

Fourth of  July found us with Dave Stamey, western  music associations male  performer of the year.

Ah, yes, the  Dirty Dozen Brass Band played a big (like 400+)  concert on a Tuesday in June.

Special  treats were  Jessica Kilroy  and the Henderson Family  plus  Elephant Revival

then the Marimba   band and Casanova

this plus many more

We do not charge for any  of  our music gatherings, as this is not a commercial  facility/event.  Our special performance musicians do appreciate donations (much like a house concert) to help cover their expenses. "Pass the hat" or a "tip jar" is the norm.

We have two stages, the Outdoor Amphitheater Stage for main events and our smaller indoor "Hangar Stage"  for afternoon concerts.
